What are YOU looking at? Hey! Be careful! If you click too hard, you could shatter the entire website. And then I'm gonna have to make you mop up the pieces with your tears! Nah, I'd let you use your friend's tears. Don't worry... or should you worry? Yeah, you might wanna worry. Just in case... you know.
Okay, It's like twelve thiry seven in the morning... uhhh... wait... why am I still awake? What the... who...? Ugh. I'm confused. Wow... uuhhh... well... "I wasn't really expectng visitors at this hour of the night... care to come in and... stay a while? Mwahahahahahaha!!!! I mean... uhh... do come in... it's cold out there. May I take your jacket?" says Flynn.
1. If you say yes, proceed to number 1.
2. If you say no, go to number 2.
1. "Well alright, I'll just... take these upstairs... the butler, Alfred, will show you to your room... goodnight, ma'am, do enjoy your stay... Mwahahahahah!"
2. "Well... I suppose I'll just have Alfred show you to your room then... please... this way..."
If you picked number one for the first option, please head directly to number one. If you picked number two, please go directly to number 1, too:
1. The butler comes out of nowhere and gestures for you to follow him. He hunches along, creaking up the stairs of the deserted, dusty mansion as the lightning and thunder flash and rumble outside. The rain is coming down too hard for you to consider going back to your car, so you follow the butler to the upstairs hallway. You remember your car that you left in that mud puddle that clogged the engine. You remember being stuck on the side of the road and catching sight of the mansion and trudging up the drive in the rain.
The butler leads you down a long series of hallways at the very end of which is your room. He doesn't say a word, but he opens the door and gestures for you and you traveler friend to enter.
1. If you enter the room, please go to number 1.
2. If you refuse to stay in the room, please go to number 2.
1. You enter the dusty room and see the four poster bed with dark crimson sheets and intricate woodwork at the back of the room, the brown wall paper, the paisely automon, the respective dressers and desks, and of course, a door at the back of the room.
2. You ask the butler for another room and he shakes his head, still not talking. You rant and you rave until he finally locks the door back up and walks away. You are not invited to follow him.
Okay, now the story has taken a turn for the more interesting. Okay, you'll have to follow the directions closely because you might get lost. So be careful where you step and do enjoy your stay at Flynnwood Manor...
If you selcted one for the second choice, please go to A.
If you selected two, please go to 1.
A. You ask the butler what's behind the door at the back of the room and he just shakes his head and points to the door. He doesn't want you to go into it. He holds up a key and points to the door. This is the key for it, no doubt. He has probably locked it. He closes the door behind you and you hear the click of a lock as the butler locks you in for the night. The thunder rumbles and the lightning flashes outside, the rain beats against the windows, and you look back at the door.
If you would like to explore the room, please go to A. If you would like to take a closer look at the door, please go to B.
A. You decide to take a look around the room. You take a sweep of the room and then start prodding around in the drawers of the desks, all of which are empty. You poke around under the bed while your traveling companion (of course, anyone you choose) takes a look through the trunk at the foot of the bed. You find a small piece of fabric under the bed that looks like it's been torn from a canvas of some sort. You show it to your companion who in turn, shows you a book they found in the trunk. It is a log book. It has the dates and times of something unknown to you. It just seems like a list of dates and times. A page is missing from the front. Obviously a tricky business is going on at Flynnwood Manor...
If you picked A, your journey temporarily ends here. I will post the rest tomorrow. But until then... Have a pleasant stay at Flynnwood Manor... Mwahahaha...
B. You decide to check out the door. It is closed tight and the more you poke at the heavy lock that keeps it closed, the more you wonder what's behind it. There is no way to open the door. You decide to take a look around the room instead (go back to A).
1. Well, you're stuck in the hallway of this mansion with nothing but your traveling companion (a person of your choosing) and possibly your wits. You look down the hall in both directions, but you can't seem to remember how to get back to the main entrance hallway. Realizing that trying to go back the way you came is the only option, you decide to head towards the opposite end of the hallway...
If you would like to turn right at the first fork, go to 1. If you would like to go left, go to 2.
1. You take a right and come to another fork.
If you wish to go left, go to 1a. Right, go to 2a.
2. You head left and hit a brick wall. the only thing left to do is go back. (go back to 1)
1a. You go left and find yourself at another fork. To go left, go to 1b. To go right, go to 2b.
2a. Brick wall. (go back to 1)
1b. You come to yet another hallway. You look around and see a door is ajar. If you wish to explore it, find the next 1. If you wish to keep going, find the next 2.
2b. Brick wall. (yeah, back to 1)
If you picked 1 at that junction back there where I told you not to get lost, then your journey temporarily ends here. And until then... do enojoy your stay at Flynnwood Manor... the halls may be a far safer place for you... for now... Mwahahahahahaha!!!
Okay, well, actually, it's one o'clock, so I'll post the rest of the adventure tomorrow, okay? Wait, I guess it would be later today wouldn't it... well either way, it's gonna be here later on December 1, 2009. Haha. Hope you enjoyed your taste of Flynnwood Manor Mystery. Mwahahahahahaha!!!!
THE END.
Or is it???
